"Our Hosokawa Powder Technology Symposium aims to provide inspiration and promote new ideas for innovative research and development work," says Dr Antonio Fernández, CEO of Hosokawa Alpine AG.
The symposium offers the opportunity to learn about the latest developments and technologies in particle processing and to discuss how processes can be made more efficient and energy-saving. "Our goal is to bring together findings from scientific research and practice," explains Fernández.
In addition to representatives of Hosokawa Alpine, speakers on the first day will include Dr. ir. Gabrie Meesters from the Delft University of Technology on current trends in particle processing and Christoph Thon from the Institute for Particle Technology at the Technical University of Braunschweig on artificial intelligence in process technology. The future of cultured meat and the production of cell culture media will be the subject of a presentation by Appachu Kodira, Managing Director of KCell Biosciences and Vice President, Global Tech Operations at JSBiosciences. The combination of dry and wet extraction for the production of legume proteins will be examined by Remy Kriech, Global Technical Sales Advisor from Bühler Technologies GmbH. You can find the entire programme here: 4th International Hosokawa Powder Technology Symposium.
The symposium series was initiated by the Hosokawa Micron Group and serves as a professional exchange for specialists in the field of powder processing. Every two years, the experts meet at a different Hosokawa Micron Group location. After Shanghai (2019) and Summit/New Jersey (2017), this year Hosokawa Alpine AG from Augsburg will be hosting for the second time (after 2014).
